Individual
Counseling
Sometimes we all need support! The journey of life has unexpected changes and bumps in the road. We are never meant to handle all of our life situations alone, and this is definitely true when you are feeling depressed, anxious or confused about a current life situation.
You may feel like you have to figure this all out on your own, and nothing could be further from the truth!
Support is available in the form of a non judgemental, supportive person, trained to give you both tips and tools to manage your circumstances, as well as a safe place to allow you to vent and feel all of your feelings.
You do not have to manage all of these feelings by yourself, and a compassionate counselor can totally change the game!
Your feelings can be compounded when you have tons of daily stressors we all face, like a job, your relationships with kids or partners and outside commitments. You may have so much on your plate that you can’t focus on getting yourself healthy.
The counseling relationship can help you focus on the areas in your life that you want to improve, or simply need help managing.
In the counseling relationship, we look at how to reduce stress, remove any barriers, improve mood or behavior, or make hard decisions. Sometimes we also walk through a really hard time in your life, like during and after a divorce, infidelity, loss of a parent, sibling or child, or any other trauma.
Counseling can help in the areas of:
- Depression or Low mood
- Negative thinking
- Anxiety and Fear
- Stress
- Career Changes
- Relationship Difficulties when your partner isn’t ready to join you yet in session
- Racing Thoughts
- Compulsive thoughts or behaviors
- Changing behavior you can’t seem to stop like overeating
- Weight Loss Support
- Parenting Assistance
- Low self-esteem or lack of confidence
